Alhaji Muhammed Imam Yahaya, (OFR, FCIB) began his career at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 1965 and has succeeded in holding top Management positions in reputable companies cutting across the major sectors of the Nigerian economy including banking, manufacturing, agro-allied, construction and mining such as Mobil Oil Nigeria Limited and UTC Nigeria Limited. He was a Director at First Bank Nigeria, and the Group Managing Director /CEO of Union Bank Nigeria PLC between 1993 and 1999 to list a few.

He has attended several prestigious educational institutions, and is an alumnus of Havard Business School, University of California, and Stanford Graduate School of Business, in the USA. He is also a fellow of several professional bodies and member of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers UK.
