Doctor Christopher Kolade (CON, FIoD, FSNB, FNIM, FIPM) is a veteran broadcaster, diplomat, scholar and administrator, with leadership excellence and outstanding integrity.
In well over six decades, Dr Kolade has distinctly modeled leadership excellence and integrity in various positions held within and outside Nigeria, including as Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom; Director–General Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria; Chairman/Chief Executive Cadbury Nigeria Plc.; Chairman Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) of the Federal Government of Nigeria; he was Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos and Chancellor McPherson University in Ogun State.
He has also served meritoriously in many national and international professional institutions, including, President, Nigerian Institute of Management (1985-1988); President, Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (1988-1993); President, International Institute for Communications (1973-1975); President, World Association for Christian Communication (1975-1982).
Dr Kolade has contributed immensely in promoting business in Nigeria, having served as Chairman Integrity Organisation Ltd GTE and Convention on Business Integrity Ltd GTE.
He is a recipient of the ‘Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON)’ of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; ‘Medal of the Order of St. Augustine’ from the Archbishop of Canterbury. With his wealth of experience, Dr Kolade has mentored several youths across cultures.
